[Displaying Holidays for
Your Country]
To have 'Calendar for PokeP' display holidays for
your country (other than USA and Japan), follow these steps. (In this
example, I am using Poland holidays.)
STEP
1)
Secelct 'File Explorer' form Start
menu
STEP
2)
Open
¥My Device¥Program
Files¥calendar_for_pokeP
folder.
STEP
3)
Tap on 'calep1'
file.
STEP 4)
At this point,
'MS-Word Mobile'
is launched and 'calep1.txt' file is opened. Scroll down to
the bottom of the file (Lines starting with "//" are comment lines). You will
see that, by default, French holidays are listed in the file as seen in
the screenshot.
STEP
5)
You will notice this line
format=1
This means currently, the date format is set to 1
which is 'Day/Month/Year'. If you want to chagne this
to 'Year/Month/Day' format, enter 2, and if you want
to chage this to 'Month/Day/Year', then change this to 3. In this
example, let's leave it as is and then delete all the French
holidays because we are going to put Poland holidays. And then input Poland
holidays.
Poland holidays for year 2008 are as follow:
New Year's
Day = January 1, 2008
Labor Day = May 1, 2008
Constitution Day
= May 3, 2008
Assumption of Mary = August 15, 2008
All Saints' Day =
November 1, 2008
Independence Day = November 11, 2008
Christmas, first day
= December 25, 2008
Christmas, second day = December 26, 2008
so it
will look like this:
Then tap on the [ok] button at the
upper right coner of the screen.
STEP
6)
You will be then asked if you want to save this file in Word
format. You MUST tap on the [No] button. If you tap on the [Yes]
button, 'Calendar for PokeP' will NOT
work.
STEP 7)
Go back
to Today screen, and select 'Lang and Holiday display
settings...'
STEP
8)
For Holidays, select 'Read from Calep1 file' and tap on the
[OK] button.
You now see Poland holidays in the
calendar.
Important: Whenever you made changes to CaleP1.txt file, you must again
follow STEP 7 to STEP 9 to reflect the changes you
made.
